Train Your Children Early~

To the youth—beware when you go out and come in thinking yourself the captain of your own destiny. For I tell you, many destinies have been shipwrecked upon the rock of this deception.

Surely, there is a way that seems right, but this wide road leads to death, and many perish along the way, because of a lack of wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

Parents—I say, teach your children early and consistently. Ground them in My ways, My word and My truth. For the enemy of their soul lurks beside the highways, and on the byways intending to sow seeds--a twisted version of truth--into those who pass by. He is out to catch prey in his net of deception. Woe to those who are sent out unprepared!

Therefore be diligent to put My sword of truth in your children's hands, and teach them how to use it skillfully. Show them how to stand in authority against the wiles of the evil one.

For I Am raising up in Zion, a mighty generation of warriors. Who, though they are but youths, are filled with the fire of My Spirit. They will know their God and do mighty exploits, being skilled with the right hand and the left. By My Spirit working within them, they will run over a troop and leap over a wall. So shall be their strength, wisdom, understanding and anointing.

Therefore, instruct the young early in the way they should go. Take hold of My promise, and they will not depart from it. For there is a highway of holiness, and I will guide their steps to find it.

Parents, raise your children in the fear of the Lord, and, if you are faithful, you will eat the fruit of the work of your hands over their lives.

Proverbs 3:7-Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.

1 Peter 5:8-Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

and justice and equity—every good path.

10For wisdom will enter your heart, 

and knowledge will delight your soul.

and understanding will guard you,

12to deliver you from the way of evil, 

from the man who speaks perversity,

13from those who leave the straight paths 

to walk in the ways of darkness,

14from those who enjoy doing evil 

and rejoice in the twistedness of evil,

15whose paths are crooked 

and whose ways are devious.

Proverbs 6:6-Do not forsake wisdom, and she will preserve you; love her, and she will guard you.

Isaiah 35:8-And there will be a highway called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not travel it—only those who walk in the Way—and fools will not stray onto it.
