Your Latter Days

I hear the thoughts of many of My sons and daughters who have been set aside and refined in the fire for many years. Do not be discouraged, thinking you are too old to see My promises fulfilled in your life.

For I will make you a sign and wonder in the Earth. Did I not say, I give My people joy for mourning and a mantle of praise instead of despair? Am I not your great reward? So Fear not! Your latter days will be greater than the former.

For I will turn your barrenness into fruitfulness and joyful dancing. So do not lose heart. For hope deferred makes the heart sick. There is a plan and purpose—a time and season for everything under heaven concerning your life.

The emptiness, the barreness, and the wilderness have all served a purpose, but you will not die there. Be reminded of this pattern in My word. Over and over again, a wilderness season proceeded a season of fruitfulness.

Moses was 80 years old before I sent him to confront pharaoh. Also, remember Abraham.  Did I not renew Sarah’s youth so that she could conceive? They believed, and I counted it to them as righteousness. Therefore, be at peace. For I Am the same God yesterday, today and forever. The God who gives beauty for ashes.

Surely, in your life there has been a season of grace, a season of learning, a season of maturing, a season of grieving, a season of toleration, and a season of waiting

The door of each of these seasons is closing to make way for the new, My great grand harvest. For I have formed and prepared many laborers for this task. So say not in your heart, My time has passed, or I am too old. But remember the many years of preparation required in the wilderness for David, Abraham, Sarah, Moses, Joseph, even My servant, Paul.

Meditate on these things, knowing that I Am a faithful God able to restore what the canker worm has eaten. Are not things are possible with Me? Do you, like Abraham and Sarah, have the humility and faith to believe?

Isaiah 61:3-To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for his own glory.

Malachi 3:2-But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He will be like a refiner’s fire, like a launderer’s soap.

Isaiah 61:3-to console the mourners in Zion—to give them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for a spirit of despair. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.
