The Counselor

The Counselor~

When you desire to hear My voice, sit quietly before Me. Be still and know that I Am the one whose voice is like the sound of many waters.


I have given you ears to hear what the Spirit is saying. My desire is to lead you through My wise counsel. For I have an answer to every perplexing situation. I hold the solution to every problem. I have the power to move your mountains, and I Am ready to intervene where there seems to be no hope. Wait, watch, listen, and see how I inspire your thoughts and give insight that defies logic. 


My child, burdens weigh down your heart and mind. You were not designed to carry heavy loads, but to be yoked with the One who can make your burdens light. Many of today’s problems were created because you have forsaken seeking My counsel and make decisions out of your own wisdom and understanding. 


There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end of it is death. You were created to walk in My wisdom, born from seeking My counsel. The man who lives by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God is like a tree planted by the river of God. His life is full, his land rejoices, and his steps are ordered by the Lord. There is light in his dwelling that draws many to seek his counsel, and partake of the abundance of his house. 


The voice of the Lord speaks. The God of glory thunders, but the small still voice leads, counsels and guides all who would be wise.


Psalms 46:10-Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth.


Revelation 14:2-And I heard a voice from heaven like the roar of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. The voice I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps,


Psalms 55:22-Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.


Proverbs 14:12-There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.


Psalms 1:3-They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.


Psalms 29:3-The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD, over many waters.

Matthew 4:4-But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.
