Beauty for Ashes
Indeed, My final judgment is near. Are you willing to exchange your luxuries and pleasures for poverty and sorrow of spirit~beauty for ashes?
I have called you to great sacrifice. Like the rich young ruler, you have a lot to lose, naturally speaking, and everything to gain. He was not able to turn loose temporal treasurers in order to gain eternal riches. This is impossible for sinful men. Yet I Am able to make a camel pass through the eye of a needle.
So cast yourself upon My mercy and ask to be broken~made willing. Ask Me to give you a believing heart. So that eternal things will be more real and desirable to you than temporal things. This is My will for you and this petition of My heart I will gladly grant.
You asked Me earlier if you were called to lay everything down. Why were you given abundance? Do you see, it is similar to the principal, who is forgiven much loves much? You could also say that he who loses much for My sake loves much. While it is true, it is easier to forsake all when you have little to lose. The greater the sacrifice, the greater the reward. Count the cost as there can be no turning back.
Your heart of devotion to Me is being restored; your times of repentance are sweet to My ears, an acceptable fragrance. I Am restoring all things. You are being bathed in My river of life.
The joy, anticipation and determination you feel in your spirit is the result of My cleansing, refreshing, and resurrection power at work with you. Even now you are aware of My anointing flowing through you.
Be faithful, diligent, determined and watchful in prayer. I will cause you to soar like an eagle. I will bring you into unity and harmony with My other eagles in the land. I Am orchestrating My intercession. Remember, I Am the wind beneath your wings. As long as you move in unity with My Spirit, you will glide effortlessly.
Self-effort will accomplish nothing of eternal value and is vanity. Apart from Me you can do nothing. Wait on Me. Cry out for sensitivity. Patience is a much-needed virtue in intercession.
The world has taught you to hurry in everything. To be independent and aggressive. Remember, man’s ways are not My ways and usually just the opposite. You must allow Me to free you from worldly wisdom so you may receive heavenly wisdom. Do not listen to the voice that tells you waiting on Me is time wasted. That is the voice of the adversary. He comes hoping to shackle you with doubt and unbelief so you will be unable to bear fruit.
The adversary loves to see you strive in self-effort, knowing you will accomplish nothing but deplete your energy. My Spirit will lead you into all truth.
