Motives

Take heed—least, when you think you stand, you fall!  Surely, I Am testing and revealing hidden motives of the heart.  For I have said the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it—but the Lord?

I see those things that you do in My name, and they are good and rightly brought forth for edification of My body. But you must guard against all high mindedness, envying and strife, which seeks to bring division in your midst, for I lift up,  and I pull down. I bring one forth, and hold one back—to try the heart.  In this way, that which wars within your members, and tempts you to err is revealed.

Beware the hidden motives of the heart, and the subtlety of the flesh which secretly desires recognition, usurping My glory for itself, seeking the praise of men.  I drop the plumbline of my word before you.  Judge yourself in this matter.  Hear Me! Love seeks not its own gain, but looks after the things of the Lord.  Love envies not, love boasts not in itself, nor is it prideful.  Love is not easily offended even when overlooked.  A pure heart, seeks not its own gain, is not puffed up and needs no recognition from man.

I exhort you, be as I Am.  Do you love Me?  Keep my commandment that you love one another, and prefer your brother over yourself, even in ministry.

Desire fervently that my spirit move freely in your midst according to my will.  Seek nothing for yourself, that I might be lifted up.  If you will take heed and judge yourself, a wall will be established, whereby envy, strife and division will no longer be able to enter the camp. Then My spirit will fall upon you, and that which you have long cried out for, and desired will manifest in your midst—My power, My glory.

You have prayed fervently that a way might be made for healing. Have you not discern that your prayers are being answered?  For cleansing is surely part of the preparation.  I can no longer bear your childish things. You stand at the entrance of manhood, and all that was allowed in your immaturity must now be put under your feet. Come! Quickly do those things I call you to, for I longingly wait on you.  Do not hold back.
